Bachelor's of Electrical Engineering
FUNDAMENTALS OF ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING II
Description
Course Description โ Programming for Electrical Engineers I
This course provides students with a comprehensive introduction to the principles of computer programming and software development for engineering applications. It focuses on the design, implementation, testing, and analysis of programs using the C programming language while introducing fundamental programming concepts in Python. Students develop algorithmic thinking and problem-solving skills essential for electrical engineering and related technical disciplines.
The course covers key topics including computer architecture fundamentals, programming concepts, data types, control structures, functions, arrays, pointers, structures, dynamic memory allocation, input and output operations, preprocessing directives, debugging techniques, software development tools, and code documentation. In addition, students are introduced to the basic syntax and programming constructs of Python to broaden their programming competencies.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to design, implement, test, and analyse computer programs in C, apply fundamental programming principles to engineering problems, use professional software development tools, and develop basic applications in Python while following good programming practices and software quality principles.
